Jack
Hunt and John Alfano have been securing resolution in labor disputes
for 27 years. Both are on the Arbitrators Panel of the Federal Mediation
and Conciliation Service. Both have been appointed by the Governor
to the Panel of Mediators for the Maine Labor Relations Board. John
Alfano is on the labor panel of the American Arbitration Association.
Jack Hunt is on the neutral chair panel of the Maine Labor Relations
Board. Fees and cancellation policies are available through the FMCS
or AAA.
Jack
Hunt and John Alfano are experienced in investigating allegations
of workplace misconduct. Where political or outside pressures require
absolute neutrality, integrity, and competence, both public and private
employers have found that "going outside" is worth the
cost and is, in fact, less costly in the long run. Hunt and Alfano
do not build a case whether misconduct is there or not. Instead,
they provide a detailed written report, a snapshot of the organization,
with supporting statements and documents, which will indicate if
there is a problem, identify its cause, and offer method to correct
it. Experiences include allegations of:
- Employee harassment
- Sexual harassment
- Favoritism
- Misappropriation of employer property or funds
- General misbehavior
In many cases, their report will be confidential and completely controlled
by the client.
